A 17-year-old from Nevada fell 150ft from a cliff and died while hiking in Utah, the second incident in the area in eight days.
Conly Warren Ruff died Saturday after reportedly 'slipping' off a cliff, a statement from the Hurricane City Police Department said.
First responders were notified around 5:30pm local time and arrived 'within 15 minutes', but found the teenager had not survived.
In an obituary, those close to Conly said he was 'an adventurous spirit and was happiest outside working on a project.'
'He was always smiling and was always quick with the jokes.'
The tragedy follows the death of Zoe McKinney, who 'lost her footing' and fell 30 feet from a ledge off a hiking trail in east Utah earlier in February.
