LA attorney who 'swindled' $10.2million from firm was sued by her beauty-guru after borrowing $70k

A LA attorney accused of swindling millions from a capital management firm was sued by her beauty-guru friend after refusing to pay back a loan of $70,000, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Sara Jacqueline King, 39, allegedly blew through the money at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas and used the money to fund her own 'extravagant lifestyle.'

She was sued in 2020 by Harpers Bazaar Summer Issue Cover Girl Celebrity CEO Manna Kadar, who lent her $70,000 during their friendship.

The pair became friends through the group Gen Next, which is invitation-only and has several high-profile entrepreneurs across the globe.

But a few months into the friendship, King started asking if she could borrow money and began soliciting several business proposals to the group.

The pair became friends through the group Gen Next, which is invitation-only and has several high-profile entrepreneurs across the globe 

Manna, who founded Manna Kadar Beauty, told DailyMail.com: 'We were a pretty tight-knit group, especially the women because there were less of us.

'We shared a lot with each other, and she painted a story of how her second husband had used her and got her to put her money towards ventures which didn't pan out.

'She said that she didn't have a lot of money left, but had more coming in, so asked for a personal loan that she would repay in a short amount of time.

'It looks like she has upgraded her lifestyle in a big way from then, initially it wasn't a big deal and I gave her $30,000 to start off with and then more.

'She has clearly really stepped it up with these loans, I was small potatoes, and she learned from that and she definitely upped her game.'
